'HAPPILY DIVORCED' DIRECTOR ROB SCHILLER GIVES BACK TO LA'S LESS FORTUNATE AT THE TEMPLE ISRAEL OF HOLLYWOOD'S 27TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER EVENT
In an ongoing effort to help those in need, Rob Schiller, Emmy-award winning Hollywood director, producer, and president of R&B JAAMZS, Inc. who just wrapped directing the season premiere of ‘Happily Divorced’ with Fran Drescher, will be serving Christmas dinners to more than 900 needy men, women and children at The Temple Israel of Hollywood's 27th Annual Christmas Dinner on Tuesday, December 25th. The event is set to take place from 8 am-5 pm at Hollywood United Methodist Church, located at 6817 Franklin Ave in Los Angeles.
“I’m proud to support The Temple Israel of Hollywood in their efforts to feed the hungry. I am committed to assisting them with bringing hope and help to so many struggling families,” said Schiller. A humanitarian dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate, Schiller has become well known for his philanthropic efforts throughout Los Angeles County and is a renowned advocate for the health and welfare of women and children in need.
Schiller has worked tirelessly to support a variety of organizations including Harvest Home, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to homeless, expecting mothers. Schiller’s other philanthropic efforts include the ninth annual “All-In” for Kids Celebrity Poker Tournament, which benefited The Alliance for Children’s Rights.
He also participated in Brad Garrett’s annual “All-In For All Good” Celebrity Poker Tournament, which raises funds for Maximum Hope Foundation, an organization offering support to families facing a child’s life-limiting illness. Schiller is the co-founder of the Devon Stern/UCP Golf Tournament, a successful annual fundraising event that has currently raised over $300,000 for children with cerebral palsy.
